DN Series - Also known as the Darkstone series. Ibanez j.custom - Previously an exclusive custom range available in Japan only. The top end model (the CN250) was one of the earliest guitars to feature "half vine" fingerboard inlays. It features an double cutaway body with two humbuckers, a hard tail bridge and a bolt on neck. CN Concert Series - This was a short lived series produced in 1978 then discontinued soon afterwards. X Series - Various X-shaped and star-shaped instruments geared towards metal players. RS Roadstar Series - Consists of the Talman, Radius and Saber series. Radius series - discontinued, a modified version is now taken over by the Joe Satrianisignature series which features a multi-radius neck. Artcore Series - Ibanez's full and semi-hollow guitar line. MC - Musician series - Discontinued - Neck-through construction (except for MC-100, which has a bolt-on neck), with 24 frets (two octaves) - As with the Artist models of the late 1970s, some of these guitars were equipped with trisound switches, and some models (MC 400 and MC 500) were equipped with active electronics (on-board EQ/preamplifiers). The AR300 has since been reissued as a cheaper, downgraded model. Early endorsers included Bob Weir and Steve Miller. The artist series established the company as manufacturers of high quality original instruments. There were various models, the best known of which, produced in the 1980s, are the AR100, AR105, AR150 (all without the tri-sound) and AR300, AR305, AR350 (all featuring the tri-sound). Some of these featured tri-sound switches which enabled the player to alter the humbucking pickups to single coil or out of phase modes. Artist Series - In the mid-70's Ibanez started producing a line of double cutaway solid body guitars . Ibanez Artist AS200 semi hollowbody from the1980s Mine is 13 years old, Played consatantly, never put alot of money into it and Still Plays Great. If you Buy a New guitar for the same price, chances are, it will only last a few years. If you find one, It may be worth your while. The Price of this guitar ir reletively low. LesPaul, Guild and Washburn Make some top notch pieces. The Ex1500 is one of the best guitars I have every owned and alomost one of the best I have ever played. It doesn't wheigh too much and but the same time isn't too light. they put light strings on it.so i'm getting used to the lighter strings. replaced a switch, the locking nuts, knobs, whammy bar. i went to a guitar shop that is an authorized ibanez dealer. it was missing hardware.knobs,locking nuts,wiring torn out. 
When people compare guitars I like to Bragg about this feature. i bought a 92 ibanez ex from a guy for 10. I've never seen another one like it on any other guitar. Three pick-ups, 2 Double Humbukers fot Treble and Bass and a single coil for the Mid-Range. Its has a Durable Maple neck with a laquer finnish composed of 22 frets. Unlike Most Guitars this was made for the musician, not the manufacturer. Some parts for this guitar are very difficult to get your hands on, but you should have some luck at a vintage guitar shop. but this is only a minor problem, If you feel its a big deal it would be worth your time to buy the guitar anyway and change the tunning knobs. Some times the Machine Heads go out making tunability difficult. The Brass hardware over the Black paint and a dark paint mix looking pattern on the pickboard give it a Dark but classy look. The body is cut for comfort to rest gently upon your body. No matter what mood I'm in, I have the option for a tacky Grunge or classic Rock, a Jazzy sound, Deep Classical,Blues, Heavy or Rippin' Death sound, it can do it all. This is the most comfortable, nad apparently the most durable. My mom got it from one of her friends for $100.
